Fluororubber skeleton oil seal is a rotating shaft sealing element made of fluororubber (FKM/FPM) as the sealing main material, which contains a metal skeleton and a self tightening spring inside. It is mainly used for dynamic sealing under high temperature, chemical corrosion resistance, and oil resistance conditions.
Structure and Material Composition
The core structure of the fluorine rubber skeleton oil seal is composed of three parts that are precisely vulcanized and combined to ensure stable sealing performance during rotational motion.
Metal skeleton: usually made of steel or hard alloy, providing rigid support, preventing oil seals from deforming during installation and operation, and facilitating fixation.
Elastic sealing body: Fluorine rubber made by copolymerizing fluorine-containing monomers, wrapped around the outside of the skeleton, and directly contacting the rotating shaft to form a sealing interface.
Self tightening spring: Built in spiral spring or V-shaped spring, used to compensate for the radial force after rubber aging or wear, and maintain the tracking of the lip to the shaft
