If your trim cylinder ram is leaking, fix it with our rebuild set. Buying a new trim cylinder is not necessary provided that there is no un-repairable damage to the cylinder or its parts.

In most cases the leakage is caused by not using the boat for some time; in the mean time foul is growing on the piston rod of the cylinder. When starting sailing again the foul damages the oil seals. Of course, the leakage can also occur due to aging so that the seals are just worn out.

The seals in this rebuild set have been tested on various boats and are of very high quality.
