Product intro

This system is a safety-assisted driving system based on 77GHz millimeter-wave radar technology. By emitting high-frequency electromagnetic waves to the rear side of the vehicle and analyzing the reflected signals, the system can detect moving targets (such as vehicles, motorcycles, etc.) in blind areas in real time.

When the system detects that a target has entered a dangerous area or a vehicle is approaching rapidly, it will issue a graded warning to the driver, effectively preventing collision accidents during lane changes and turns.

Function logic and details of warning range

1. The rearward area of this lane (RCW)
Horizontal range: Fixed at 3.0 meters (1.5 meters on either side of the vehicle’s centerline), precisely covering the width of this lane.
Vertical range: Fixed length of 50 meters, enabling continuous monitoring of vehicles behind.

2. Adjacent lane area (BSD & LCA)
Horizontal range: Fixed at 3.1 meters.
BSD area (near field):
Vertical range: Fixed length of 10 meters
LCA area (far field):
Vertical range: Fixed length of 40 meters

3. Hierarchical warning logic
(1) TTC (Collision Time)
The system calculates the estimated collision time between the vehicle and the target vehicle in real time. Warning determination criterion: TTC ≤ x seconds
When the actual distance between the vehicle and the target vehicle is less than the target relative speed multiplied by 8 seconds, it is determined that there is a potential collision risk.
(2) BSD Blind Zone Warning
When the target vehicle approaches rapidly and TTC > 5 seconds: The LED flashes at a frequency of 5 Hz;
When the target relative speed > 3 km/h and TTC ≤ 5 seconds: The LED remains on constantly.
(3) LCA Area Warning
When the target vehicle approaches rapidly and TTC > 5 seconds: The LED flashes at a frequency of 5 Hz;
(4) LCA Area Warning
When the target vehicle approaches rapidly and TTC > 3.5 seconds: The LED flashes at a frequency of 5 Hz;
